This book was very helpful for reviewing for the certification exam. What I didnt like about it is that there were no rationales given and only the correct answer was given. The real test is multiple choice therefore I think that book should be too.

I bougth this book, hoping to review for the exam by doing test questions and getting the hang of the exam. However, this book did not prove helpful at all. The questions had detailed answers but it did not give typical senerios or common use medicical practice. To take the boards exam you need practice practice practice with questions not just reading questions.
I would not recommend this product.

While there is a lot of good information in this book, it leads one to believe that it is made up of thousands of question/answer type pages. While it does offer the question, and then the answer, it is not in a test format. There is no multiple choice, it is just the question, followed by the answer. Not a great study tool for a test when professional test organizers suggest that the best way to study is to do many multiple choice test questions which is the format for the test.

Although this book is filled with useful information, it only provides questions and precise answers. When one is studying for the boards, it is important to exercise critical thinking skills and decision-making processes. Because this book only gives answers and questions, the reader has no other recourse than to memorize these facts without understanding the basis of why the answer is what it is.

Mark Wolfram has scored a real winner with Veil. Musically and emotionally, it can be turbulent and - more often - soothing all at the same time. Its impact is very similar to what I experienced the first time I heard the score for The Piano. Veil is what you want to listen to in a darkened room while wrestling with a problem, or simply unwinding after a long day. My only criticism is that the cuts are too short. Im left wanting more! Please hurry with your next offering, Mr. Wolfram.

I love the title of this CD - and it fulfills its promise, actually "piercing" the veil of movie-music and making us realize it stands alone. Better yet, it brings its own imagery. Films without music would be amazingly empty. But it turns out music without film is surprisingly full - at least it is when Mark Wolfram composes it. He has the gift of truly great composers - the ability to translate emotion into music, and when we listen, the emotions course through us. Anyone who loves film score CDs will love this and play it over and over again, whether as background for a lovely evening, or as a listening adventure in your favorite recliner. The most visual musical experience you can imagine, this CD has it all! The listener is transported from the tense jeopardy of a crime drama to the soothing amblings of a long awaited trip home. He takes us through every genre - modern crime, historical, science fiction, soap opera, epic, and everything in between. Its as though we journey from Siberia to the great American plains, from the high Rockies to down and dirty streets. Wolfram takes us from contemporary symphonic passages to historical interludes to futuristic sojourns from tension to humor, from macabre to benign. Is there anything Mark Wolfram CANT compose? I suspect not. I wonder why we dont see his name more often on the big screen? I know we will.

Listening to this recording was an astonishing experience for me. I followed the suggestions in the liner notes, turned off the lights, added candles and just listened. I am a writer, though not a screen writer. Immediately a story began to play in my minds eye. I got characters, action, a plot and everything. In fact, I am going to write that story and dedicate it to Mark. Bravo! And thanks for the inspiration.

The book provides thought provoking questions for kids but answers are not provided in the book. Although I know the right answers I dont the right way to explain it to my kid. Its very important for kids to understand what makes the correct answer "correct". The book is more useful for teachers, but its rather incomplete for parents like me.

This book, the first in the series, is the kind of book that I sought out when raising my young children. Humphrey, a licensed psychologist, does not preach values to children. Instead, she uses her years of experience to introduce twenty-five scenarios followed by a series of questions. These questions, ideal for teachers leading classroom discussions or for parents engaged in daily readings with their children, do not explicitly state a right course of action, but allow children to explore and fine-tune their own moral compass. The effect is the development of a childs own sense of fairness and what makes actions inherently right or wrong. I highly recommend this book, and the others in the series, for any teacher, parent, or grandparent interested in pursuing lively discussions regarding ethics and behavior with children.

This is a book that I purchased for one of the HR Supervisors at my job, he attended a conference where they were quouting from the book and he was so enlighted by what the speaker was refrencing that he had to go and get a copy. So far he enjoys the book and encourages people to get a copy for themselves, so overall I say this is a good investment for those in doubt of purchasing.

As someone who has read multiple books about ethics and leadership, I find this one pretty weak. The model presented for ethical decision making conflicts with certain established concepts in the field. It is overly simplistic and actually could lead people to make bad decisions.

There are no books on the market that address morality that way that this book does. Not the Bible. Not my university textbook on ethics. None. Its one thing to talk about moral issues and take sides with them, but it is another thing entirely to talk about solid moral principles that can guide you in making moral decisions based on reason instead of blind faith. This is a book that does the talking.

If you want to find out what a religion or a moral philosophy is really made of, nothing will put it to a test more than a moral dilemma will, and this book is chock full of examples of real life moral dilemmas. Some of those moral dilemmas are things most people wouldnt even think of as moral dilemmas -- justice vs mercy for example. One dilemma I like (to paraphrase) was the one about the highway patrol officer who comes upon a truck wreck where the driver is irremovably pinned down in the cab and a fuel-fed fire is starting to blaze out-of-control. The driver asks the officer to kill him before he is fried alive. What would you do and how would it be a moral decision?

It is not a perfect book, for example, there was the issue of what is truth. Truth and fact are not the same thing. Truth is whatever people believe to be fact, whether or not what they believe in really is a fact or not. Truth is not a reliable yardstick by which to gauge morality by. That might seem like nitpicking with words, but the most common cause of distress of clients in counseling is confusing facts with truth. Knowing the difference between the two is important to making proper moral decisions, otherwise you might be basing your decision on an illusion.

It also didnt cover the issue of punishment. The topic of punishment often comes up in moral discussions as a deterrent from being immoral. If a person needs to be deterred by force from being immoral, does that deterred person become a moral person then, or are they a person only putting on an act of being moral, only to resort to immorality in private when nobody is looking and they can be the "real me"? So is there no other purpose of punishment, besides being a poor deterrent? Most philosophies of punishment Ive heard have very immoral reasoning at their cores and therefore should be discussed in every discussion on moral or ethics. Therefore any religion or moral philosophy based on deterrent is an immoral religion or philosophy.

Rushworth Kidder is a wonderful writer and thinker and has devoted 20 years to promoting ethics and integrity. This book does a wonderful job presenting dilemmas, getting you to think about how you might handle them, and providing clear advice on how to evaluate such issues. Thats all good. The problem is that it was written almost 15 years ago and it shows. While much of the information is timeless, many of the studies cited are from the early 90s. This would be fabulous if updated.

What a great book. From no skillz to haxor writing shellcode, Id recommend this to any academic institution wishing to teach on security. The first few chapters arent overly exciting, but finding a book that gives fair coverage to topics like Linux shellcode development, client-side attacks on Windows, IDA pro usage, fuzzing, and more is no easy find!

I have been condicting ethical hacking for 3 years and this book was such a let down, it falls well short in providing and good detailed content. Basically its the kind of stuff you learn on day 1 and shows no evidence of experience from an author who can hack into systems. My advise is save your money as this book covers nothing you wouldnt find on Google in 5 minutes. You know it is so bad I think I will write my own book.

My advise google, wireshark, nmap and netcat the content you get it 5 minutes will be as good as this book.

There is alot of good knowledge to be learned in this book, but it is very cutthroat and dry. There are almost no "real world" examples of what they talk about, and alot of it talks about using programs that were created for linux.. Otherwise it is a good book, but I have read better.

This book shows a lot what hackers use...and the more you know about it, the better you can protect yourself.If you think that this trains bad hackers, well we cant change how some people use information.What I can tell you is that a lot of people will be better off with the information in this book for the companies and servers.

As a big fan of Louise Hay I was thrilled that she wrote a book for children. While its not the most exciting childrens book, my son has grown to like the way when things are bad in the story they change their outlook. The concept is not entirely lost on him and Im hoping that these are lessons that he can take out into the world as he grows.

It is about self-impowerment and making a bad situation into a more positive experience.

I love the book as does my 6 year old son but it does sort of require me to reinforce the doing of affirmations which sounds like a great idea but does not always happen. Definitely worth it and hopefully well spend more time telling ourselves how great we are in front of the mirror!

I purchased this book at the Celebrate Your Life conference in hopes that it would help lead my child to start thinking positivly. We read it a few times a week, and we have started telling each other what our affirmations are for the day on the way to school. It has been a great tool to explain to her how thinking effects your life. She is thinking more positivly and she loves this book so much she wanted to share it with her class. (my daughter is 7 1/2).

This is a wonderful book to build character. Louise Hay is a excellent writer and I love all of her books. You can heal your life is one book I cherish, and when I saw she wrote a childrens version, I bought it. I will enjoy reading this book to my grandchildren and inspire these powerful affirmations.
